Detoxification of Parasites and Candida

Product Information

After many years of my own journey from poor health to good health, i have discovered tried and true methods that have proven effective in the quest for optimum health. These methods of diet considerations, cleansing and rebuilding programs are used successfully throughout the field of functional or alternative health practices. It was formerly believed that the body would detoxify without the “stress” of digestion and further elimination of toxins would be eliminated. The modern day realization that the body’s detoxification mechanism is a heavily nutrient-supported process has made it clear that simple fasting is not the most effective method of detoxification. Ideas began to change and new information became available on the real problems of digestive disorders. Candida and Parasites are now considered primary causes of digestive disorders. Candida and Parasites may effect between 25% to 50% of the population.

What are Candida and Parasites?

Candida Albicans, a common yeast is present in our body and is part of the normal flora in the digestive tract. In a normal state they live in harmony with all the other bacteria in a concentration of 1 million of bacteria to one (1) Candida. When this yeast overgrowth becomes out of proportion, yeast related disorders develop causing yeast infections, rectal itch, constipation, bloating, skin problems and so on. With long term infestation, the yeast shifts into a fungus form wherein it develops rhizoids or roots, that can be implanted into the intestinal wall. This allows absorption of by-products (toxins) undigested protein, and undigested carbohydrates. this is called “Leaky Gut Syndrome.” Leaky Gut Syndrome simply means that the intestinal tract is more porous that normal. Once these invaders get into the bloodstream, the immune system of the individual could make antibodies to combat them. The body may become hypersensitive to other foods and can develop numerous food allergies. It can also interfere with hormone activity and cause nutritional deficiency. Parasites become a problem at this time sue to impaired digestion and the lack of enzymes needed to kill parasites. Enzymes such as hydrochloric acid and pepsin help to kill parasites. Modern digestive systems have become compromised due to poor eating habits, stress and environmental toxins. Parasites ca enter and exist in an environment that allows them to survive. Parasites are usually microscopic and in the family of protozoa’s. Other parasites are visible and can be seen such as hookworm, roundworm and pinworm. Parasites co-exist well with yeast in the warm environment of your digestive tract.

What Causes Candida and Parasites?

1. Repeated antibiotic use is the most common cause of yeast overgrowth. Normally, intestinal bacteria suppresses the proliferation’s of yeast. When antibiotics destroy the normal flora Candida is free to mass reproduce.

2. Birth control pill and cortisone drugs, Candida is usually a side effect from these commonly prescribed drugs.

3. Over consumption of sugar and refined carbohydrates. This also effects the balance of good flora in the intestinal tract. The lack of good quality food in our diet compromises our immune system which helps yeast and parasites flourish.

4. Vaginal yeast and parasites can be transmitted from an infected partner.

5. Progesterone seems to enhance yeast growth, so women with Candida may see increased symptoms premenstrually or during pregnancy.

6. Water is a primary source of parasite infection. Even filtered water can contain microorganisms (giardia & crytosporidium).

7. Food that is inadequately prepared or eaten raw. Undercooked meats and unclean vegetables and fruits.

8. Pets can often transmit parasites.

9. Travel outside the U.S.
